Learning doesn't have to stop when school closes!
We are grateful to our amazing volunteers, supporters, and donors whose generosity continues to make our holiday classes possible. Because of your support, children are spending their holidays learning, discovering new talents, building confidence, and having fun in a safe and engaging environment.
Our holiday classes include:
Drama & Role-Play — helping children express themselves, build confidence, and develop creativity.
Spelling Bee — encouraging children to improve their vocabulary, language skills, and love for learning.
Storytelling — using stories to teach important lessons about education, health, peace, child protection, and environmental conservation.
And the excitement doesn't stop there! Children also receive school supplies and other learning materials as rewards, encouraging them to participate, learn, and keep doing their best.
Every smile, every performance, and every new lesson is made possible by people who believe in the potential of these children.
Meet the little girl with the yellow scarf! She came along to the end-of-year celebration and, after watching the children having so much fun on stage, she confidently decided that she wanted to join them too!. And here's the sweetest part — she hasn't even started school yet!
But that didn't stop her. With so much excitement, confidence, and pure innocence, she walked right in and became part of the celebration. Her little moment completely melted our hearts.
Children have such a beautiful way of reminding us to simply be part of the moment. Sometimes, all they see is joy, laughter, music, and other children having fun — and naturally, they want to experience it too. This little girl may not be in school yet, but she already showed us something special: confidence, curiosity, and the courage to join in.
We hope she carries that same confidence with her when she eventually begins her own school journey.
Has your child ever done something similar at a school event, wedding, church program, birthday party, or any special occasion?
Humble Care would like to express our sincere gratitude to St. NIVIC Dominion Primary School and its Proprietress for recognizing and appreciating the support we were privileged to provide to the school and its pupils.
Your kind words, encouragement, and recognition mean so much to us. They inspire us to continue serving our communities with love, care, and dedication.
We are truly grateful for the opportunity to be part of the journey of such a wonderful school and to contribute, in our own way, to the educational growth and well-being of its pupils.
We believe that meaningful change is built through partnership, compassion, and a shared commitment to our children. Together, we can continue creating opportunities and making a positive difference in their lives.
Thank you for your trust, encouragement, and partnership.
May God continue to bless St. NIVIC Dominion Primary School, its administration, staff, pupils, and families, and may the work we do together continue to bear fruit.
As we continue celebrating the achievements of our children at the end of the school year, we are reminded that every child deserves to feel seen, valued, comfortable, and supported.
During the celebration, we noticed that some of the children were participating in the activities without proper footwear. While this may seem like a small detail, it caught our attention and reminded us that behind every smile is a child with individual needs and circumstances.
Rather than making assumptions, Humble Care intends to reach out to the parents or guardians to better understand their situation and explore how we can offer meaningful support where possible.
We believe that every child should be able to participate in school activities, play, dance, and celebrate their achievements with confidence and dignity.
This is what community care means to us — noticing, listening, understanding, and doing what we can to help. As we celebrate the accomplishments of our children, let’s also remember the little things that can make a big difference in their lives.
Through LUMINA, Humble Care continues to nurture hope, unlock potential, and empower young minds to dream bigger, believe in themselves, and strive for greater achievements.

A special thank you to the school administration for inviting Humble Care to be part of this meaningful celebration and for their continued commitment to supporting the children.
Sometimes, as adults, we forget that children also experience anxiety, sadness, loneliness, and emotional struggles. Their feelings are real, and they deserve to be heard, understood, and supported.
As parents, teachers, guardians, and members of our communities, we should encourage children to take part in the little things that make school life meaningful — sports, music, dancing, debates, cultural activities, games, and classroom activities.
These experiences are not just about having fun. They help children build confidence, friendships, communication skills, a sense of belonging, and emotional resilience.
When a child begins withdrawing from activities, spending most of their time alone, or losing interest in things they once enjoyed, let's not simply dismiss it as “just a phase.” Instead, let's gently reach out. Encourage them to play, interact with others, talk about how they feel, and express themselves.
Sometimes, a little attention, encouragement, love, and involvement can make a much bigger difference than we realize. Let’s pay closer attention to the mental and emotional well-being of our children. Let's create environments where they feel safe, valued, included, and free to be themselves.
Because a child who feels loved, supported, and understood has a stronger foundation to grow into a confident and healthy adult.
Sometimes, just a few words of encouragement can make a lasting difference in a child's life. Recognizing a child's effort helps build self-confidence, encourages growth, and inspires them to keep learning, improving, and believing in themselves.
For a child, hearing “Good job!” can mean so much more than we realize. It tells them that their efforts matter, their achievements are seen, and they are capable of doing even more.
Humble Care was honored to be invited to an end-of-school ceremony. Although the invitation came at short notice, we were delighted to show up, celebrate the children, and encourage them for their hard work, dedication, and achievements throughout the school year.
These moments may seem small, but they can leave a lasting impression on a young mind. Every word of encouragement matters. Every smile matters. Every child deserves to feel seen and appreciated
We are sharing a story of Abigail, a brave young girl who recently underwent a critical CT scan at Mbingo Baptist Hospital, sponsored by Humble Care. Abigail has been facing challenges with delayed developmental milestones, speech delays, and weakness in her left hand. To get to the root of these issues, Humble Care stepped in to ensure she received the necessary neurological imaging.
Results:
The medical report indicates signs of a past infection that has left small calcium deposits in the brain. While we are relieved that the scan showed no signs of tumors or active bleeding, these findings explain some of the hurdles Abigail is currently jumping over.
Next Step:
In discussion between Abigail’s mother and the Humble Care team, the reality of the situation was clear: the scan is just the first step. Abigail will likely need specialized follow-up care and long-term therapy to help her regain strength and reach her full potential.
Humble Care remains committed to standing by this family, but the cost of ongoing medical assistance is significant.
