Frequently Asked Questions

Common Inquiries

Everything you need to know about contacting Humble Care and accessing our support programs.

How quickly will I receive a response to my message or ticket?
All inquiries submitted through our portal are automatically assigned a unique tracking ticket (HC-INQ-...) and routed to the appropriate department. Our secretariat guarantees an official response within 24 business hours. For urgent field matters or emergency water repairs, contacting our direct WhatsApp desk (+237 620407786) provides immediate escalation.
Can I walk into the Douala Headquarters or Buea Field Office without an appointment?
Yes, both our Douala Secretariat (Bonanjo) and Buea Field Office (Molyko Tech Mile) welcome walk-in community members, students, and partners from Monday to Friday between 08:00 and 17:00 WAT, and Saturdays between 09:00 and 13:00 WAT. However, if you require a formal consultation with executive directors or the engineering team, booking in advance through this form is strongly recommended.
Are there any fees or charges required to submit an application or contact Humble Care?
Absolutely NOT. Humble Care is a dedicated non-profit NGO. All our programs—including Lumina Scholarships, SIMSI Clean Water installations, Healthcare medical screenings, and the Youth Innovation Contest—are 100% free of charge. Humble Care staff will never ask you for mobile money payments or application fees. If anyone asks for money in our name, please report them immediately.
How does a community or village submit a request for a SIMSI clean water borehole?
A community representative, traditional council member, or village development association can submit a borehole request by choosing the "SIMSI Clean Water & Infrastructure" department in our contact form. Please mention the specific village name, division/subdivision, estimated population, and current nearest water source. Our WASH team will schedule an initial hydrogeological site assessment.
How can international foundations, diaspora groups, or corporations partner with Humble Care?
We actively collaborate with international donors, diaspora chapters, and corporate CSR programs under transparent co-funding models. Select "Partnerships, CSR & Donor Relations" or write directly to hr@humblecare.org. We provide full project chartering, audited financial statements, GPS-tagged progress logs, and measurable SDG impact metrics.
Where should prototypes or physical materials for the 2026 Youth Innovation Challenge be delivered?
Physical hardware prototypes, agricultural devices, and bio-tech samples can be demonstrated at our Buea Innovation Lab in Molyko (Clerks Quarters). Please coordinate with the Contest Directorate via contests@humblecare.org or WhatsApp +237 620407786 before transit.
